The Stream

Hi, friends. This is my very first blog - well, my first OFFICIAL blog.  I blog all of the time but only let a few people in on it.  Welcome!

A blog is supposed to be shared thoughts that reflect the personality or heart of the author.  I hope that is what you will find here - thoughts, personality, heart.  I hope that what we share will lead us into the heart of Father, display the personality of our Brother, Jesus, and reveal the thoughts of Spirit so that we are encouraged.  And I ask that you pray for me to receive wonderful things that I can write about and that I will find clear direction for my life as I long to minister to others in all I do, including this blog adventure.

My life in and for God is a stream, much like the one on the cover of my book, Whispered Treasures.  It is a stream that winds through mountains and valleys, over rocks and under limbs, making its way from beginning to end.   There may be times when the stream is dry but the hard winter freeze of snow and ice will always melt in the spring and bring a new flow of life.  Sometimes the obstacles in the path of the flow may seem insurmountable but He always provides a way around and His water will sometimes erode and provide a way through the tough spots, too.  My life as His stream is simply to BE and let Him live through me - just as a stream is born from the water that flows - and it lives and moves by the water that flows.  I am born and I live and I move in His living water!

In John 7:38 Jesus said, "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."  Let it flow.
