Trusting
Psalm 37:3-7a Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him.
Proverbs 21:1-3 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases. All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
Psalm 138:4-8 May all the kings of the earth praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth. May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great. Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me. The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.
Psalm 33:20-22 We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in YOU.

Awesome, Amy! God's word is so pleasing, comforting, cutting, calling. He will accomplish his purposes in this day and he's calling us to take part in his game plan. I love it. Incidentally, I just read exerpts from C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity in a coffee bar in dowtown Minneapolis. The theme is "How much of myself must I give?" Jesus says "all."

Thanks, friend. This life becomes so beautiful and simple when we trust - and give Him everything, doesn't it?
